Ron Decker

Ron Decker, 62, of Orange, Texas, died Wednesday, June 1, 2005, at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 4, 2005, at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange. A private burial will follow at Orange Forest Lawn Cemetery in West Orange. Visitation will be from 9-10 a.m. Saturday, at the funeral home in Orange. Ron was born in Greenville, Texas on December 18, 1942. He was the son of Thad and Anita (Shipp) Decker. He was a 1965 graduate of Stephen F. Austin University, worked as a controller for Metal Depot and was a member of First United Methodist Church in Orange and Orange Community Players. Preceded in death by his parents, he is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Gerald and Virginia Decker of Orange; nephew, Lee Decker and wife, Amy of Lumberton, Chad Decker and wife, Brandi of Bridge City and great nieces and nephews, Jacob, Katie, Chazz, Chassadi and Taylor. Serving as pallbearers will be Lee Decker, Chad Decker, Bob Decker, and Jacob Wheless. Honorary pallbearers are Beno Smith, Pete Croak, Mike Fuselier and Chazz Lewis. 504 N. 5th St. Orange, Texas (409)886-4445
