THE GREAT BUDDA
i stand humbled before
THE BIG BUBBA
oops! i mean...
THE GREAT BUDA
i am from texas
Enoshima Island from Shonan Beach
... we then spent the afternoon walking around enoshima island where our inn was located...
there are a lot of shrines on enoshima island, this is the oldest... very beautiful... serene... we had it to ourselves... not a lot of the 10 million people who visit Enoshima Island each year showed up on a really windy march midweek afternoon...
Haiku...i think it says... keep your poem short it will be written in stone...
there are not many cars on Enoshima Island, but there are plenty of bicycles...
SPRING!
while back at home (South Padre Island) they have SPRING BREAK!!!!!!
the inn we stayed in was just what you would want... remove your shoes and wear their slippers to your room and leave them outside your door... grass matts on the floor a small table... foutons... a tiny chest... a small tv... a remote for the tv, one for the heater, and still another for the overhead room light... bathroom down the hall... hot tub (shower first) downstairs... there were 8 rooms and teams competing in the yacht races were housed around us... quiet... quiet... no car noises... no airplanes... no loud people... one night a cat yeowled for a while... and the crows got going about daylight... around 6:00 a motor scooter might ease out into the morning... it was quiet... it was off season
sandyfeet speaks international cat language
i tried not to be an ugly american... we were treated like royalty (ok maybe only celebrities) from the time we were invited 'til we left... they really know how to take care of a couple of far from home artists...
we saw Mt Fuji... from the bridge leaving Enoshima to go see our site... but only the first day we were there....... it was cold and cloudy the rest of the time... but we did see Fujisan!
Fujisan, sandyfeet, and amazin' walter, happy to be in Japan?
